Lacer’s photos

The first fully ripened chilli unfortunately ended up as a science experiment instead of in the courgette pasta I was planning. I hadn’t realised how quickly you have to pick the chilli after it’s ripened and as Girl Lacer observed when she was looking at my chilli plants, “It’s going squishy”. It didn’t help that as this particular chilli had, as it formed, formed up against a branch, so a hole had formed in it’s side and it was beginning to look a little mouldy. So me and Girl Lacer thought we’d have a look inside, to which she observed “It smells a bit like a pepper” and “Where’s the seeds inside?”, both good points!
